CHE's "The Wired Campus" posts relevant articles
Today's Chronicle of Higher Education "The Wired Campus" is rich in news of projects that parallel UT and CIE. One article describes a collaboration between Johnson & Wales University and the Ministry of Tourism in Morocco to create a virtual Casablanca Island in Second Life.
Another article contains a Sloan Consortium annual survey of online education as compared to general college enrollment.
To complete the triple hat trick (cricket term I learned in Australia), a group of institutions serving adult learners through distance education plans to let potential students compare and contrast the effectiveness of their various academic programs.
